Poet's Note: Written on March 5, 2022 after I saw a quote:
"Who you are should be a question of what you value, not what you believe."
Each of the four categories contains words. My use of punctuation and lack of it means everything in my poetic expression. Brackets gather, lack of commas don't separate. These words aren't in order of importance… they carry the same weight.
It will be a truly beautiful day when I can see the same beauty in a grasshopper as I do in my cats. It will be a truly beautiful day when I can love a stranger as a friend. It will be a truly beautiful day when I can treasure my unknowing as my understanding and my doubts and grief as my compassion and love
