Today, I'll start all over
Today, the slate is clean
Today, I'll look with new eyes
At a world that's flowery and green
Today, I'll see my reflection
As Jesus sees His own
Because today I see reflected
His image, not my own
Today, I'll love even more
Because, today I'm loved so much
By a Father who's identity
Has been, is and always will be: Love
Today, my heart will heal once more
Because today, His Life restores
His Life in me, lived out today
Will open stubborn doors
Today, is not eternal yet
I know today will end
Tomorrow waits so patiently
Just around the bend
But I am filled with the utmost joy
This love is here to stay
I can start tomorrow loved again
When tomorrow becomes today
Today, the slate is clean
Today, I'll look with new eyes
At a world that's flowery and green
Today, I'll see my reflection
As Jesus sees His own
Because today I see reflected
His image, not my own
Today, I'll love even more
Because, today I'm loved so much
By a Father who's identity
Has been, is and always will be: Love
Today, my heart will heal once more
Because today, His Life restores
His Life in me, lived out today
Will open stubborn doors
Today, is not eternal yet
I know today will end
Tomorrow waits so patiently
Just around the bend
But I am filled with the utmost joy
This love is here to stay
I can start tomorrow loved again
When tomorrow becomes today
